Over the years I've managed to collect/buy all sorts of helmets. I don't want to throw them away - they're still good. So I hung some peg-board on the walls of my tack room and use s-hooks to hang them all. It works out perfectly, they are out of the way but I can still get to them if I need to.

Do you cover the helmets so they don't get dusty? I like the idea of keeping them out in the open, or they smell fusty if you put them in boxes.

Another thing I like to do in my tack trunk and also at home actually, is put items in plasic see through zip-up bags. Keeps the dust off and you can see what's in them.
You know the old clear plastic make-up bags? I like to use those they are a little more durable plus you can still see through them.
