Rain Rain Go Away! Have an Evacuation Plan in Place.

Wow! We are really getting hammered here in North GA. We are in the mountains, so only wash-out mudslides, spotty flooding. I took a shovel and dug a moat around the barn, so everything drained. My tack grew aqua fur overnight. Cleaned leather all day. Who am I to complain about such a thing? We are O.K. But South of here. Oh, boy! Around Atlanta, many horses were taken to higher ground. Very sad, but 11 people have died. Mostly swept away in their cars. If you don't have an evacuation plan; make one!
